It’s the last day of September, and this is the LOVE LIST, where I share the things I loved this month and give you a bit of a life studio update.
There were a couple of days this month cool enough for me to put an air mattress under the magnolia tree and make an outdoor bed for me and Rocky. It was a preview of things to come. Come on cool weather…
My mom gave a paper at a philosophy conference so I went with her on a little roadtrip to Madison and Nashville, Indiana.
I had a yard sale. It was a lot of work and I didn’t make much money, but I did sell some art and I had a good time talking to my neighbors and it made me think I might like to host a little clothing swap art salon coffee drinking Saturday front yard gathering every now and then.
I started writing a book and publishing here on Substack. It’s called Cosmic Heart. You can read the first chapter here and become a paid subscriber to read the rest.

I was thinking about Slade Roberson the other day and how much I miss him and I swear, not even an hour later, he sent an email to his list saying he was back.
I listened to alot of Other World this month. It’s good paranormal content.
September begins autumn movie watching season around here and we kicked it off with a new watch - Lisa Frankenstein. It was a lot of fun and gets the homage to the 80’s exactly right.
I also watched a movie I somehow missed a movie directed by Amy Heckerling when it was released in 2012, Vamps. It’s silly and fun.
I enjoyed some McDonald & Dodds, mostly because it’s set in one of my favorite places, Bath.
I am always on the look out for a foundation that won’t be cakey on my skin and will somehow transform me into a breathtaking beauty and come with a drugstore pricetag. I have a couple that I like, but this month, I returned to a non-drugstore priced CC Cream from Thrive Causemetics because it’s just so good.
I got my Harris yard sign from Democracy Ya’ll on Etsy.
And that’s it for the month of September 2024. Are you working on your Halloween costume!?! Okay, love you, bye.
