Welcome to Creative Living Diaries

I’m Lori-Lyn. I’m someone whose whole life is organized around paying attention to the inner landscape, the past, patterns, and what’s hidden in images and symbols.

I write for people who were told, at some point, that they were too much. Too sensitive, too intense, too weird, too whatever the adults around them needed less of.

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

I’ve been a reader and writer my whole life. I live in Kentucky, where I tend to native plants. I have a huge collection of oracle and tarot cards. I’m currently writing a YA novel about a teenage girl in the 1980s. (I know her pretty well.)

On this Substack, I write personal essays, a spiritual autobiography, and a series about living in New York City in my twenties.
